The Visionary Entrepreneur
A. Self Awareness
1. Direction of movement
2. Response to others
3. Reaction to environmental factors
1. Direction of movement (pivoting)
1. The Visionary Entrepreneur is a figure that takes charge and expects others to go along with his decision-making process, which is never a collegiate one. It could be argued that a Visionary Entrepreneur is a person who applies direct action or aggregation to a situation to resolve it. Direct action is not always an acute force but is definitely applied pressure to go in a certain direction as the Visionary Entrepreneur expects and will not take no for an answer. He also uses his power and influence through his office to get his own way and in this process he expects people to see his side of things which results in a good friend and worse enemy. His weak area is that while he wants something immediately, he also has the capacity to lose interest in a project over a period of time.
2. Part of the overall flow pattern of the Visionary Entrepreneur is to galvanize people into action by his influence. Very few will refuse him and this will result in his personal power carrying people along and will often take his initial guidance way past the boundaries or project that he first set down. The direction of movement dictated by the Visionary Entrepreneur in a general sense is to create and build. Like the Innovator Entrepreneur(Thought Leader), the Visionary Entrepreneur is not good at sustaining his initial interest, as other interests tend to get in the way of things. The Visionary Entrepreneur is the power that activates movement in a certain direction- but is not one to sustain it.
3. One of the problems with the Visionary Entrepreneur is that when he loses interest in a project he tends to take his eye off the ball and the initial direction and goal he first envisaged may not be the same finite direction that others will take his aims to. What they most likely will do is take his aim and only look at the principle he outlined that they agree with, although it will still be done in the Visionary Entrepreneurs name. Goal altering is a fact of life dealing with the Visionary Entrepreneur. These alterations may not always be drastic ones where the whole directional focus is changed but they will be off course enough to make some noticeable differences.
B. Response to others
1. The Visionary Entrepreneur will respond well to others only if it is in his interests to do so. The Visionary Entrepreneur is a big picture person who does not have the time nor inclination to go over details, which he leaves to others to take care of. The response of others to his causes will depend if they have a vested interest or not and are simply trying to impress him to win favor. If the Visionary Entrepreneur sees willing supporters who are up to the task, he will then instill in them the fundamentals that he started. In many respects, he is a good archetypal representation of a politician to his constituents.
2. Many of those who work with or directly under the Visionary Entrepreneur see him as an opportunity to fix things that they deem are necessary. Since he usually acts when there is a large degree of public support, others will support him because it appears to be the thing to do at the time. The Visionary Entrepreneur's emotional inclination is to win at any cost through any methods available to him and he will generally take the quicker approach over the more cautious one. His supporters will take his lead and for a time will be vociferous about the projects they do on his behalf. So in many respects, this is a type of chain reaction that can and will get out of hand unless strictly monitored.
3. There is an old saying that many hands make light work, and especially so if they are all working on the same project. This is the current of energy that the Visionary Entrepreneur brings to the table and how his supporters will respond to his wishes. Overall those who support the Visionary Entrepreneur, do what it takes to gain his favor whether he directs it or not and will often put themselves out on a limb in doing so. As an individual, the Visionary Entrepreneur is both feared and admired, and this will attract all sorts to him. Generally, he will leave people in charge to do his work for him through delegation.
C. Reaction to environmental factors
1. The Visionary Entrepreneur has a habit of dominating his environment, be it work or play and making sure that it conforms to his will and expression. When it comes to topography, the Visionary Entrepreneur will go where his needs send him – be it a hill, valley, plateau or undulating plain. When outside influences do not favor a particular course then he will follow their wishes if they are superior to him. So his environment can shape him in some circumstances where the public will is against him. However, generally, his supporters will go along with what he wants, even if it favors outside influences and goes against the natural trend of public opinion.
2. The environment, be it social, economic or topographical, will be to a certain extent, responsible for the creation of a person like the Visionary Entrepreneur. He is created through an inert need by the people around him to have a voice. This will initially work well for them but when his own personality adjusts to this role and dominates it, them many of the original ideals that put him into this position will get put to one side as his ego takes charge. The success of this will depend on the degree of support he has and he is a populist by nature, which does not change but where he directs his gaze does.
3. The word environment does encompass a great deal of territory and levels, as alluded to previously, and the Visionary Entrepreneur does fit in with his surroundings which is done out of necessity more than anything else. The Visionary Entrepreneur will try and blend in and support what is the flavour of the month – if it does not go against his basic ideas. Even then he still might consider it. A Visionary Entrepreneur is a person who will establish a project and be its initial impetus and also its mentor. If the project is short-lived then the Visionary Entrepreneur will go out of his comfort zone to support it.
2. Material Possessions
1. How the Visionary Entrepreneur obtains material wealth
2. How the Visionary Entrepreneur deals with it
3. What he does with it.
1. How the Visionary Entrepreneur obtains material wealth
1. The Visionary Entrepreneur usually obtains wealth through an all or nothing scheme. It is doubtful that he will employ a single scheme to obtain wealth and will usually a series of quick small schemes that he may invest in for short periods that go very well for him. In other words, something that is a short venture but contiguous with other schemes. Inheritance also comes into this as well and the Visionary Entrepreneur appears to have status already at the beginning of his career and that usually comes from old money and community status. These two concepts are not mutually exclusive to each other. His manner and approach indicate someone who is comfortable with money due to background but will not always have it as ready cash.
2. Some people have status or the illusion of status and both these concepts the Visionary Entrepreneur possesses. He will use his status and power in order to obtain material wealth by placing pressure on others. Especially so if the actual office to back this up. The Visionary Entrepreneur considers that the combination of status and power equals wealth and this allows him to act like a bully or let his status work for him and will depend on context and illusion to a limited extent. The work of the Visionary Entrepreneur will be done very quickly through a series of small incremental steps so that when each project is completed it will flow into another.
3. Some archetypal representations of the Visionary Entrepreneur as buying cheap and selling at a high-profit margin(exits). He is also a speculator and his archetypal; representation can be allied to that of a trading banker. The Visionary Entrepreneur will employ a strong campaign to win people over to accepting his strategies, but will also go past the limit and beyond to get his own way. Generally, the Visionary Entrepreneur prefers others to do his work for him. He seldom applies a direct threat to people and relies on his reputation to get what he wants.
B. How the Visionary Entrepreneur deals with it
1. The Visionary Entrepreneur obtains wealth to have power, influence, and control. He uses wealth to obtain more wealth which he can equate to having more power and control over others and events. The Visionary Entrepreneur will apply his wealth to help others but the catch is “I'll let you win as long as I win more.” He will never make any gift he gives a purely philanthropic gesture. This power that he has is supported by those around him by others who also want something from him, so hidden agendas are a norm in his presence. He understands that he must grease the wheels to make them turn to obtain optimum results.
2. The Visionary Entrepreneur will be a primary driving force in obtaining wealth and will usually go with the general flow of those he considers equal to him in status which is more along the lines of investments and shares and various business ventures. While the Visionary Entrepreneur may be the initial impetus of the investment but that part is short-lived when the power brokers(VC/Angels) take over. However, the initial impetus he created allows him to pick the cream of any investments he takes over and will allow them, a quick sale at good profits before moving to the next scheme. On the whole, the Visionary Entrepreneur prefers to deal with other people’s money but will risk his own if the rewards are good enough.
3. Overall, the Visionary Entrepreneur deals very well with wealth and knows how to sustain it and also how to build on it. He does this by using other people’s money while taking a hefty fee in doing so. When he does use his own money he considers it as rare. Usually, a part of his creed in handling wealth is to use other people’s money before using his own. The success of the Visionary Entrepreneur is almost a given and that is why he is able to sustain wealth and is part of his reputation and his word is his bond. This creates a powerful mystique that attracts others to him so he can sustain his lifestyle and grow with his longevity.
C.What the Visionary Entrepreneur does with his wealth.
1. Any investment the Visionary Entrepreneur does with his wealth will be perceived as bulletproof by him and his advisors. He is generous to others when there are good reasons for doing so and these will be essentially what the benefits are for him, be they short or long term. The Visionary Entrepreneurs' philanthropic venture is usually shaded by generous tax breaks and a re-enforcement of his reputation as being generous to others which is something he values highly. His reputation is part of his sustainability to keep adding to his wealth and this in turn supporting those who follow in his footsteps. This, in turn, creates a well-oiled financial construct that has all the trapping of power and influence given to a selected few by the Visionary Entrepreneur.
2. One of the choices the Visionary Entrepreneur has in dealing with his wealth is to inject it into clear cut projects that have an end game in sight. So along with money and power, a quick result is expected that adds to his coffers. The Visionary Entrepreneur will use his influence to bring about further developments in a situation where the money is exchanged as that is for him is a way to obtain ultimate power. One of the by-products of this is that he can use this influence that he built up to help others without any cost to himself and any amount he gives he will get dividends back, in one-way shape or form.
3. The Visionary Entrepreneur relies on wealth and money to obtain more power to give more power to his end game. The money is simply a tool for him to obtain power and influence as once that is obtained he considers that the immediate need for wealth is not so pressing. However, the Visionary Entrepreneur will use the tools of power and wealth to the utmost of his ability. The Visionary Entrepreneur invests his wealth so that he can sustain himself but takes a low-risk strategy if he uses his own money – which is rare as others people money is the way in which he builds his power and wealth and through his reputation.
3 Consciousness and how you deal with it.
1. The Awakening Process
2. Creating structures to transcend
3. Connected to others on metaphysical thoughts.
A. The Awakening Process.
A Visionary Entrepreneur is a person who thinks he is born to command others and that is part of his make-up and how he will treat others. It is not just his manner, but his stature with others that allows him to do this. This born to rule ideology is just one facet of the awakening process that the Visionary Entrepreneur recognizes within himself, and also others. When viewing others he sees the “Lack of principle” in them and will try and exploit it so that it adds to his own power base. However, before he can do that, he has to be fully aware of the responsibility he is taking on. This is where this facet of his nature surfaces and knowing the enormity of his tasks he realizes that he cannot accomplish anything without helpers and that is the area he will exploit others to obtain that help.
2. Any helper that he brings into his inner circle must also acknowledge him as a leader and will do what the Visionary Entrepreneur asks. The dichotomy for the Visionary Entrepreneur is that he realizes his position intrinsically as well as his position in society and that leads him to deal with outside influences to help him with his goal. In order to recruit people to help him he has to show them not only the process he expects them to work through but also what the end is and what they can expect to get out of it. His presence will only take his supporters so far and they expect something in it for them and he has to create an infrastructure to go with his plan.
3. The Visionary Entrepreneur thinks that power and influence are his by divine right. The reality is that his power comes through his greed to control more people around him and all the benefits that that entails. He has a vision that all will flourish under his gaze and that his guidance to others is better than their status quo but also knows that incentives are need to realize this part of the vision. Once this influence is reciprocated by others then he starts to organize his supporters to give him the stature and reputation that he craves. All of this is part of his own inner vision and he will never be plagued with self-doubt.
B. Creating structures to transcend
1. Once the initial structures that the Visionary Entrepreneur has created with the help of his followers, the next step for him will be to expand the boundaries of his power so that it extends to more people and different levels of society. His vision has to be able to offer people of different viewpoints yet unite them through core principles. The Visionary Entrepreneur also has to realize that he cannot leave things in a small way and will have to expand his initial vision to include more people in his extrapolation. This extrapolation also means that his structural dynamic can change as it becomes larger and complex and that is a point the Visionary Entrepreneur has to carefully watch.
2. The Visionary Entrepreneur will now have the problem of expanding and retaining his original structural integrity without alienating his supporters by adding changes that adding additional changes that may not agree with. For the Visionary Entrepreneur, it means the realization that when a structure has reached its limit it has to transcend into something more yet still maintain the concept of all things to all people. An extrapolation of a structure can either enhance it or destroy it if the core principles are not left intact and he has to tread carefully in his planning because of this. To a certain extent, he has foreseen this and his original structure is designed in a series of modules that are partitioned off from each other apart from the overview. The way the Visionary Entrepreneur deals with his followers who work this structure is for him is to promise to enhance what they already have.
3. Generally, but not always, any structure the Visionary Entrepreneur creates has a short-lived shelf life and he will make changes to it according to his needs and expansive program. In doing this the danger that he faces is in prioritizing new additions top his structure ahead of his old values which are embedded in the structure. If he keeps his original priority then he will be successful. However, creating new structures to work through will become a regular event for the Visionary Entrepreneur and he must not lose sight of his end game. Another area of concern is that the Visionary Entrepreneur may take his eye off the ball and be distracted which can play havoc with those who follow him.
C. Connected to others on metaphysical thoughts
1. In order for the Visionary Entrepreneur to create his own destiny, he must first connect with people of like mind whom he could enlist as supporters in causes that he wants to pursue. This connectedness to others is in the capacity is crucial in the developmental capacity of the Visionary Entrepreneurs rise to power. For without these connections, there can be no support. So this connection to others is the first step for the Visionary Entrepreneur to realize his dream of having a wider control of power over people. Not all of the people the Visionary Entrepreneur will have to convince to go with his decisions will be his followers as he will also have to link to and impress those of equal stature to him and them in turn will have their own supporters.
2. The Visionary Entrepreneur takes a very different approach to his peers than his followers and is usually one of mutual respect. He knows he cannot dominate their views like he does his supporters but he can maintain a line of communication with them so that he is more approachable to him. This view also allows to him to both ask and offer support from and to them and he works a model of political expediency. The Visionary Entrepreneur sees this as part of his influence and others of equal status will do the same. This is another expansion of his structural model.
3. The big question the Visionary Entrepreneur has to deal with when he extends his support to others of equal status is who will lead? Peers of the Visionary Entrepreneur have their own pecking order. The Visionary Entrepreneur will acknowledge this, but his concern for not giving up his ideas has to include the views of his followers. This will come through a lateral expansion of his influence amongst his peers which in turn opens up enormous opportunities for him.
4. Home and Security
1. How he reacts to home and environmental issues
2. Security wants and needs
3. Stability as a baseline
A. How he reacts to home and environmental issues
1. When it comes to a reaction to a problem the Visionary Entrepreneur can be called knee jerk reactionism. He will be unpredictable when pressured by outside forces. In his home, he demands things immediately and if they are delayed and he is quick to anger and equally quick to forget. In many respects, he is out of sight out of mind person since he is a big picture person and has little time for details on smaller issues. On environmental issues that concern topography, the Visionary Entrepreneur will make quick decisions that he may later regret and have to live with a long time afterward.
2. The Visionary Entrepreneur’s natural inclination is to try and react immediately to almost every given situation that comes his way - whether it be critical or not and this an impossible and intolerable situation. This all comes down to the Visionary Entrepreneur not having a fixed set of priorities and a competent structure to deal with them by trying unsuccessfully to micromanage them regardless of consequences. If the Visionary Entrepreneur creates a structure to deal with this and follows it, then he is able to curb his natural tendencies to fix everything and let others take the responsibilities from him. Routine is the saving grace that allows him to work within a given frame to expedite matters based on priorities.
3. The Visionary Entrepreneur is the most vulnerable when outside pressure interrupts his routine which helps stabilize his reactions. The reactions of the Visionary Entrepreneur to a given situation depends on timing – whether he is mobile or home. The surrounding environment of the Visionary Entrepreneur is a catalyst that will either galvanize him into action or allow him to sit back and ponder the situation.
B. Security wants and needs
1. The three primary areas of concern as far as security goes for the Visionary Entrepreneur are the work, home and when being mobile. Although the Visionary Entrepreneur wants order, he tries to subvert it with his impulsive behavior which can go from being apprehensive to paranoia. With security, comes the feeling that he is locked away from the world around him and to alleviate that he will often bring in people that he feels the most comfortable with when he is at his most emotionally vulnerable. Many of the things he will ask for to help give him emotional support are not really needed by him from any practical sense and are more emotionally based.
2. As a personality, the Visionary Entrepreneur is to a limited extent emotionally unstable and much of his material surroundings are simply props and not real wants which helps him to mask his emotional issues. His real wants and needs are so embedded in his personality that he would have a difficult time of it to separate them from the props he uses. These props can also be people whom he thinks will support him along with those around him whom he really needs who are on another level. Security for the Visionary Entrepreneur is not only to prevent physical harm but also for the need for a stable base on which he can operate from unobstructed.
3. The Visionary Entrepreneur needs this stable base and that is why he is often on edge if he does not have it which activates the needs for props around him to counteract the insecurity he feels. When the Visionary Entrepreneur is at ease with himself the props are not needed as this is part of his eclectic nature. One of the rare abilities the Visionary Entrepreneur possesses is to have an almost 6th sense as to his security needs, which allows him to anticipate trouble before it arrives. For his supports, this will drive them to distraction if they let him get away with it.
C. Stability as a baseline.
1. Stability for the Visionary Entrepreneur is a fine line between feeling trapped emotionally and paranoia. Stability can mean different things to different people and the Visionary Entrepreneur prefers a low-level routine sprinkled occasionally with areas of excitement that will fluctuate according to his moods. While the Visionary Entrepreneur wants quite times when they arrive he finds that he can only stand them for brief periods of time as stability for the Visionary Entrepreneur is not always a safe place that is secure but a state of mind that allows some flexibility to the term security and how it can be applied to him. Possibly the best way to view it is how comfortable the Visionary Entrepreneur is with his supporters, regardless of where they are. Again this goes back to what the surrounding influences are.
2. The surrounding influences around the Visionary Entrepreneur play a large part in his emotional stability. This relies to a certain extent if he gets what he wants when he asks for it. If his routine is strong enough to sideline some of his knee jerk reaction requests his baseline will be a stable one where he can relax. However, defining a comfortable baseline for the Visionary Entrepreneur has many layers to the interpretation. The most important thing for him at this time in harmony and how to achieve it coupled with the ability to initiate things into action which has some real meaning behind them. Once this has been established then the Visionary Entrepreneur is satisfied with his action and comfortable in his situation.\
3. The problem the Visionary Entrepreneur faces in this area is that while he craves for the stability he gets bores if he does not have new challenges which will take him out of his comfort zone. However, he has the will and intelligence to create new challenges when he needs them. It is highly unlikely that he will go form one major project to another with a rest between them and this is where the stability comes into it. His natural inclination might push him over the top at times but the stable structure he has created around him will not allow him to have a burnout.
5 Where to next in development
1. Creating performance
2. Joy of Living
3. Emotional desires through expression
A. Creative performance.
1. The Visionary Entrepreneur is the ideas person and one who instigates others into action. Usually, he will lead the thrust to get a project going, but will also obtain the services of others to sustain the project in its advanced stages. Essentially the Visionary Entrepreneur needs helpers to complete his vision. His energy, direction, and focus are his strengths as he motivates others into helping him by employing their skills to get a project finished. All of this comes together due to his power and influence which allows him to galvanize others to support him as without this support he cannot accomplish his tasks in hand and it allows his creative expression to be manifested in real projects.
2. A Visionary Entrepreneur is a person who can spellbind an audience or group of people with his rhetoric and as such becomes a beacon for almost any cause he chooses to take part in or lead. A performance by the Visionary Entrepreneur is an important part of his creative expression. He needs this expression as a cathartic value and any projects that he undertakes to challenge himself and also to show others what he is capable of with a good support group in a universal cause. This, in turn, will open the door for him for additional future projects with an equal amount of support.
3. Overall the Visionary Entrepreneur is not a shy individual who works in the dark and behind the scenes but is a flamboyant person and to a certain extent an exhibitionist. He does this to show others who he is and what he is doing and about to do in the hope of picking up additional support. The Visionary Entrepreneur is also an archetype of a person who can appear to accomplish just about anything he puts his mind to. The real issue here is his status in the community and the empathy he can produce in both himself and others for a particular project that he undertakes.
B. The joy of Living.
1. The Visionary Entrepreneur is an individual who loves life and fully embraces what it has to offer. While there is an impulsive quality to his nature, he is also a person who can quickly make decisions and act on them. Though impulsive by nature in his decision making, he is also a person who unconsciously thinks things through before he acts. This makes it appear spontaneous at first glance but there is also a degree of thought there as well. This generally results in the right action allied to right thinking. The Visionary Entrepreneur will be the life of any party due to all being focused on him. The Visionary Entrepreneur will usually look for different ways to accomplish a project and expressing himself through the senses.
2. Overall at this level, the Visionary Entrepreneur will be involved in a wide and varied campaign to express himself as much as possible in just about all the major areas of life that will bring joy to both him and others around him. However, the joy of living due to aspects of his impulsive behavior he throws himself into a project with reckless abandonment. Though he does not sip his pleasures he is certainly able to limit the amount of pleasure he embraces. The Visionary Entrepreneur likes variety and prefers quality to the quantity which can lead to controlled impulse.
3. The Visionary Entrepreneur sees joy as a form of expression where a true zest for living can be explored in some detail. The Visionary Entrepreneur is inclined to lead people to express themselves differently through different mediums. This allows for an overall varied field of expression but through a controlled framework. The element of control is always necessary with the Visionary Entrepreneur and it is something he rarely loses. He prefers to see things in layers rather than as a single abstraction and is a very measured individual.
C. Emotional desires through expression.
1. The Visionary Entrepreneur is a highly motivated individual who expresses himself emotionally and often through the sensory field of expression and this allows for a number of levels to be explored. He is not a person who gets caught up on a single theme in how to express himself but prefers to spread himself thin due to the sheer number of options open to him due to his power and status. This can lead him to seek out numerous partners for short time ventures and not long term commitments. In short, he will play the field as the dictates of his nature.
2. In many respects, the Visionary Entrepreneur would be something of a disaster in a relationship and will have wandering eyes and never seriously settle in relationship from any emotional concept. If pressed he might pay lip service to a long term relationship but would never share himself with others for any lengths of time. There are some who would overlook this fact and decide to take him regardless of his affairs. The Visionary Entrepreneur likes to get his own way in just about all phases of life and relationships are just one aspect of that.
3. In expressing his emotional desires the Visionary Entrepreneur is a person who has his cake and eats it as well. He takes what he wants through a number of different methods and generally has support in doing so. Any opposition he encounters will not be that powerful and he will usually win so he does not have to act directly against anyone and his actions are far more subtle and less noticeable. For the Visionary Entrepreneur, variety is the spice of life and he will rarely settle on one thing as it will rarely old his interest for long, be it pleasure or people.
6 Health and lifestyle
1. Being in tune
2. Aims and structures
3. Work environment
A. Being in tune.
1. A Visionary Entrepreneur is a person who takes charge of whether he is ready or not and to an extent ignores the timing of taking responsibility. This means he has little regard for others and does not care if his actions are reckless and his aim to complete the task at hand. If he wants something then he wants it yesterday and is the sublime autocrat. He is in tune with what is going on around him and that is why he has power and stature. This allows him to work within the zone of his powers. However, for the Visionary Entrepreneur, there is often the overkill factor and in some instances, he can behave like a spoilt child but with considerably more power. The Visionary Entrepreneur also has his more positive side which is often short-lived. He is a person who is dynamic and constantly changing his focus.
2. What does keep the Visionary Entrepreneur in check is his routine and support mechanisms which tend to have busy on a day to day decisions so that he does not become a tyrant and will verge on the image of a benign dictator. One of the best analogies for the Visionary Entrepreneur is the description of a control freak who micromanages those around him. This way he makes full use of his power and influence and wants to an end result quickly. Essentially the Visionary Entrepreneur is in tune with his surroundings but works with his boundaries as a general rule though he will occasionally push beyond them. What the Visionary Entrepreneur has to control is his intensity, which can at the best of times take him over the top.
3. Overall, the Visionary Entrepreneur is a dynamic personality with considerable power and stature and he works towards those goals that affect him directly and the holographic-ally controlled mini-universe that he has created for himself. If an outside force and comes to an influences those directly in his domain then he will establish boundaries to keep it out. The Visionary Entrepreneur will often do the right thing for others but for the wrong reasons as his concerns are primarily for himself and not for others. This shows part of his restless paradigm which is constantly trying to broaden his horizons.
B. Aims and Structures.
1. As far as the Visionary Entrepreneur goes with aims, he works from two primary levels. The first if what he has and the second is what he wants to add to it. The Visionary Entrepreneur does not go in for loss or reductionism of his power and control as his aims are high and his takes others with to those lofty heights when he is on a quest and in doing so they will give up a certain amount of their autonomy. The Visionary Entrepreneur’s aim is for more that concept will not diminish with age as it is not about experiencing what he owns but what he controls. The Visionary Entrepreneur wants to increase his assets for what they can bring to him and not the lure of money in itself. He aims high in almost everything he gets involved in.
2. The Visionary Entrepreneur is not a structuralist by nature but the framework from which he operates is and that prevents him from smothers his attempts to go beyond it. Structure for the Visionary Entrepreneur is something detests but accepts as a necessary evil and is a major part of his checks and balances that he adheres to. He has no choice in the matter as this is part of his lifestyle pattern that he is either born into or created for himself so that he has enough helpers that need his attention and will distract him from whims and will help him to focus on an end result rather than take on too many additional projects.
3. When aims and structures are combined as a complete unit, for the Visionary Entrepreneur, it is generally best for a short term venture. That way, more energy, and direction will be focused in a brief time frame. The use of a solid structure will also assist with the impatience of the Visionary Entrepreneur, for any project undertaken that is protracted into a long term concept then the end result has to be assessed. The actions of the Visionary Entrepreneur often mimic the action of the over-ambitious civil servant who had a job to do and gets carried away with his own self-importance in the scheme of things and just like the civil servant he has to jump through hurdles which he does not like.
C. Work environment.
1. A civil servant analogy here to then Visionary Entrepreneur is a good one as far the work environment goes but not on a low ranked level. His work environment faces the problem of having views too isolated and not in a full context. In other words, the Visionary Entrepreneur has an insulted working environment that can cause a value system to be based on a false premise. The result of this is that work becomes an end result and not a process that can limit the Visionary Entrepreneurs' perception. The chain reaction of this is that the Visionary Entrepreneur can also behave like a petty dictator if things around him are not running smoothly and most of this will be based on his take on issues that summarised for him.
2. If a Visionary Entrepreneur is not in full control then that area that he does manage will be an area that he will try and keep others out of as he will rule it with an iron grip. Those who support him in that area will find benefits while others who try to impinge on his territory will be shut out of his sphere of influence. If he finds he has to deal with them and has no other choice he will minimalism the information he gives out as control is the operative word for him no matter what position he is in.
3. The Visionary Entrepreneur in a work environment is a person totally committed to the work ethic and not allowing -as much as humanly possible, for anyone to get in the way of his decisions making process. His laser-like tenacity has its advantages and disadvantages and is ideal for general problem solving but it can get in the way of the development process when he tries to get too far ahead of the game without informing his supporters of what his tactics are. The Visionary Entrepreneur simply does not want to have a wider directional focus that his supports would insist he uses.
7 Partnerships
1. How the Visionary Entrepreneur gets on with people
2. Obligations and contracts
3. Who the Visionary Entrepreneur likes and dislikes.
A. How the Visionary Entrepreneur gets on with people.
1. The Visionary Entrepreneur generally gets on with people who agree with him and support him as well as those whom he acknowledges as his superiors in either work or social structure or a combination of both. He cannot force those above him to take on his views but they are there because of their power which is an ingredient that the Visionary Entrepreneur respects and what he uses to gauge friendships both work and socially. Because he wants to control those above him he will submit himself as a part of a construct that uses power as its base which they have power over. This will give him enough inducements to rise up the ladder with a carrot of great potentiality for the future. There will also be occasions where he will be brought into line with overall policy decisions.
2. The type of people the Visionary Entrepreneur wants around him are those who meet his demands and while they are not all yes men but are an eclectic bunch. He also wants people with certain strengths to help provide a structure to his supporters without challenging him directly. Sprinkled among these stoic individuals are the supporters who can be loosely described as yes men along with hangers-on and are not in either camp. The bottom line is the Visionary Entrepreneur needs these people to perpetuate his lifestyle and also for some financial reward. It requires a strong personality to hold people from these various persuasions together and that is what the Visionary Entrepreneur is.
3. Those above the Visionary Entrepreneur who is above him socially and in work status see him as an opportunity to shore up their interests and will be even stronger personalities than he is. All of this relates to both a social and work structure or a place where strong organizational structure exists. The Visionary Entrepreneur leans about life and how to act from the people around him. Those above him present archetypes goals that he can take from and remodel - when he needs to. They provide him with a level of protection that shields him from the more damaging aspects of his position.
B. Obligations and contracts
1. The Visionary Entrepreneur will honor his obligations and contracts in the initial stages, however, this will not prevent him from trying to get out of or rewrite his contracts when his power base is greatly increased or he sees a commitment to a person or organization under threat from a superior force. In part, the Visionary Entrepreneur could be described as a fair-weather friend or partner, he will stand by his contracts and obligations if it is part of his overall power structure. He perceives any threat to an associate is then considered as a threat to him and his group. There are exceptions to the rule but fighting a lost cause is not one of them.
2. The Visionary Entrepreneur prefers others to fight his battles for him and that is also another reason why he has strong supporters around him who can act independently for him when necessary. He also needs and prefers strong people around him to critique him when he oversteps the mark. The Visionary Entrepreneur knows that he will frequently go beyond areas he feels safe in and needs strong people who will pull him back to reality – even though he will never admit it. This indicates that there is a subtle approach built in his guidelines of power-sharing in both work and social areas. Some of the people around may see him as a petty tyrant at times – which would depend on their own strengths and weaknesses.
3. The Visionary Entrepreneur wants to control his group within the parameters that he laid out for them. In order to accomplish this, he allows them a certain amount of leeway to fulfill their own needs as well as his by having a common purpose within a common unit to flourish in. Those who work with the Visionary Entrepreneur do not do it out of love but for what they can get out of it for themselves which will open them up to be exploited by him because of it. Some may join him towards a cause they perceive as being the greater good in line with the ideals he espouses and he will, in turn, exploit them through his autocratic behavior.
C. Who the Visionary Entrepreneur likes and dislikes.
1. The Visionary Entrepreneur likes strong people around him who give him support. On a more personal level, he also needs yes men as well to see to his needs and makes him more secure emotionally in his inner conflicts. A good archetype for this particular concept is Cecil Rhodes who an autocrat with many different modules of support mechanisms. While he hates criticism he also needs it and will accept it in part by the way and the timing it is delivered and this where his strong supporters play their part. He will generally accept criticisms in the form of advice to fix something that is not working correctly.
2. While the Visionary Entrepreneur likes to be the center of attention he also likes others who support him to bathe in the limelight as well. This allows him to perceive that he is the head of a group dynamic and in particular the head of a group as opposed to simply a member of it. The Visionary Entrepreneur does not like those that have a different ideology than his own and those that are too pushy towards him. Though an autocrat by nature, he dislikes any system or group that takes power out of his hands into a more democratic setting. The exception to this rule is that his people are in place in a democratic setting.
3. The Visionary Entrepreneur supports those strongly who succeed in his name or under his brand, no matter what they do to get there. For him and them, the end justifies the means. His likes and dislikes are polarised and he is very clear on who he wants and does not want as a supporter or colleague. This only allows those who support him to be of like mind otherwise they would not be able to function adequately with any sort partnership level and produces them and us scenario.
8 Ups and Downs
1. Behavior and life patterns
2. Life, death and rebirth patterns in daily life
3. The underlying or hidden aspects of daily life
A. Behavior and life patterns
1. A Visionary Entrepreneur is a take-charge person who likes to take the lead in everything he undertakes. He gives orders and expects them to be carried out. Some of his faults is that at times, he is a knee jerk reactionist who wants things the moment the thought has entered his head. The Visionary Entrepreneur is a demanding individual who wields a great deal of power and influence in his specific field of interest. His behavior patterns reflect to dominate or win by any means at any cost. In trying to dominate he also accumulates and that allows his wealth to bear on a situation which gives him control at best or a major influence in at least. The Visionary Entrepreneur is also the instigator or progenitor of new ideas.
2. What the Visionary Entrepreneur does is conceptualize ideas and help bring them to fruition. As an instigator, he essentially kicks butt and makes the creative concept a reality by producing a material frame for it to work through and provide the motivation for those who have the idea but not the will to direct it to carry it out. The Visionary Entrepreneur’s major forte is the motivational inspiration and provides this for his people through his power and influence. The Visionary Entrepreneur represents a herald of change through expansion, whether he likes it or not and brings ideas into action.
3. Overall, the Visionary Entrepreneur loves to inject new ideas into old paradigms and rework existing structures until he breaks through the old boundaries and creates new ones. He is not a man to take a backward step in such things and he constantly evaluates his priorities and changes them when the need arises and his new aspirations have outgrown his old ideas. The Visionary Entrepreneur tries to find or create new levels of expression that best suits the occasion and need which he backs up with volumes of enthusiasm that he always manages to bring to the table.
B. Life, death and rebirth patterns in daily life.
1. It could be argued that the Visionary Entrepreneur forces both long and short term constructs on himself and his supporters. His general inclination is for pushing the short gains and projects due to his limited attention span as he is constantly changing his outlook. He takes this concept into renewing old paradigms to see if there is any shelf life left to them as well as bringing in new developments and changing direction totally when renewing the old paradigm. Breathing new life into old projects is very much where the life, death and rebirth construct is applicable. Renewal and reconstruction are the Visionary Entrepreneurs mainstream focus points that helps him direct his gaze into something worthwhile.
2. The Visionary Entrepreneur has to constantly deal with concepts that fail or do not get off the ground without his support which can be likened to the death scenario, especially relating to short term ventures. What the Visionary Entrepreneur lacks is timing, and that is generally the reason while some of his projects fail- especially when he acts impulsively. The Visionary Entrepreneur will have a number of projects that he supports because they are short term and provide quick results and provide a general measuring stick as to how his projects go in general. So in effect, he can see end results and can show them to his supporters which in turn boosts his influence. This is also a welcome distraction from his primary. Concerns.
3. The overall effect of the Visionary Entrepreneur when he acts as a stimulus shows renewed growth and vigor, however with renewed growth comes to the death of the old paradigms associated with a project as the new ones take hold and develop. These death and rebirth concepts come in many forms and will fluctuate across a wide array of daily living. One of the more interesting of death and rebirth that he encounters is the flexibility needed to allow these ventures to spring up, flourish and eventually die when they have exhausted themselves.
C. The underlying or hidden aspects of ups and downs in daily life.
1. The underlying aspects of the Visionary Entrepreneur’s driving nature within the ups and downs paradigm is the continuous drive to push ahead at any cost and this can either be a blessing or a curse, whichever way you look at it and depending on the goal. The drive-in him is what creates dynamic success because it is unrelenting. The highs and lows associated with him are enhanced to a large degree by this drive which relates to his constant success.
2. The Visionary Entrepreneur does a lot of good for those around him when he gives his support for projects or individuals. It will not be surprising to note that he will look for any angle that will help him in some way, shape or form, even it is simply to look good at what he does as this will enhance his reputation even further. The Visionary Entrepreneur wants unilateral support for himself and others in order to succeed and this can only be done if he makes certain promises. All of this is designed to look good and further his reputation as an organizer with the reputation of being able to get projects accomplished and is part of his long term strategy.
3. What he is trying to do here is show consistency with the short success applied to a long term overall strategy. As a result of this applied strategy, the Visionary Entrepreneur will be viewed as a stabilizing influence no matter what some short term setbacks come up. This reliability is necessary for the Visionary Entrepreneur’s reputation which is a platform for some grand long terms scheme to build up his power, influence, and reputation and place his own people in key positions to aid him. This is the underlying factor that drives him and allows him to gain when those around him do not succeed.
9 Higher learning
1. Spiritual ideas and recognition
2. Abstractions - goals, and problems
3. Evaluation
A. Spiritual Ideas and recognition
1. The Visionary Entrepreneur considers his divine right to rule or being in charge is from a spiritual heritage and that is what drives him. His ideas are that he fix any situation and any opposition to him can be overcome. In many respects, he believes that his rule is a divine one and guided by a higher power. Today we might call the high end of this belief and practice as megalomania. So the Visionary Entrepreneur wants power and others to know that he has it and wants more and it is from a divine source. In some respects, part of this can be constituted as a personality disorder and in essence, feels he can do no wrong.
2. When dealing or working with a personality of this ilk it is not a good call as he will always be right. However, if this person's goals coincide with your own then you have a very powerful ally. The best way to work with the Visionary Entrepreneur is in the areas that you both agree on or a point where you both have equal standing. However the Visionary Entrepreneur cab a pain when you have someone working with you who will never accept blame for any error he made – even if he has caused the problems in the first place. A Visionary Entrepreneur is a person who has to be seen to be doing what he does best and will not hide his good deeds in the dark. He feels he communicates with a higher power which gives him the right to do what he does.
3. When the Visionary Entrepreneur is viewed from a distance or from a limited outlook, he will be seen to be a take-charge person who can get the most difficult jobs completed successfully no matter what it takes. It also indicates a dynamic individual whose long term leadership is questionable. What the Visionary Entrepreneur wants in the short term is recognized and that will only come from those who do not scrutinize him too closely for if they did then they would see many of the traits he tries to hide from others, especially his insatiable grab for power at any cost.
B. Abstractions- goals, and problems
1. The abstract nature of the Visionary Entrepreneur allows him to use any framework that works which takes him the territory of the pragmatist. He uses people around him to get what he wants and will discard them when they are not needed and replace them with others who can get the job done. So his abstract goal is to win and use all his power and influence to do in any way that he needs to do it and even if he wins he wants more of the same. Power is the baseline he operates from and what he craves the most. He obtains power through his control and manipulation of others and once that is accomplished it opens the door for more of the same.
2. What the Visionary Entrepreneur wants is a web-like center so that he can both control and insulate himself against current and forthcoming problems. The people he places in key positions are embedded ion the web and the abstract information he receives from them keep him in power and issues that could bring him down if directly associated with him. He is insulated by layers of people around him and he knows exactly when to pressure individuals so they can provide what he needs most. All of this stems from his concept of a win at any cost scenario and rule with divine right. A Visionary Entrepreneur is a person who will rarely take direction.
3. Some of the issues the Visionary Entrepreneur has to face is to learn by experience and this process take a great deal of time because the Visionary Entrepreneur has isolated himself from issues and tends to deal in abstractions and he learns the hard way through repeated mistakes which he will not admit to others. Informing the Visionary Entrepreneur of an error he made just once is not enough for him to sit back and take note, as he has to be taken down a peg or to before the realisation hits him. When the penny dopes drop for him it allows him to take another course of action without explanation to anyone. The Visionary Entrepreneur needs these lessons and experiences so that the next route he chooses will a easier task for him and the lesson he has to learn not go with the ego.
C. Evaluation
1. The Visionary Entrepreneur in not listening to others if they present an alternative view into completing a task other than his own makes him his own worst enemy. His evaluation of which course of action to take is often clouded by his monetary desires and for a proper evaluation to be completed he has to be as abstract as possible. The conundrum is that he prefers to deals in abstracts but his version of abstracts and not others who advise him and that also is usually when it suits him. So evaluation is a difficult path for the Visionary Entrepreneur when based on a neutral view abstraction but not so much so when he applied his own theory or abstraction.
2. The Visionary Entrepreneur in a group situation is where he shines best and also when he evaluates at his best as though he likes to think others have no direct effect on his decisions they ultimately do in a subtle manner. When the Visionary Entrepreneur is left to his own devices generally more mistakes creep in as he is a big picture person and is at his most vulnerable as minor details appear to elude him. The Visionary Entrepreneur learns his lessons also from how decisions he makes affect those close to him as he sees what collateral damage he can cause. When it is an abstraction he ignores it when it is close to him he does not.
3. The Visionary Entrepreneur loves to obtain new knowledge and use it where it will be the most beneficial to him and also where it will do the best as a secondary consideration and that may be limited to causes that he champions. The problem is that he will be selective in his evaluations if left to go solo but in a group, he will be more circumspect and try to be seen to be doing the right thing in a group dynamic so he will win praise from them and this leads him to a more logical decision making concept. The cultural dynamic seems to be a major influence in his evaluation process. However, the Visionary Entrepreneur will tend to do what is right as seen through his prism and that “do it my way attitude” gets in the way of any correct decision-making process he takes.
10 Destiny
1. Recognizing destiny
2. Fulfilling destiny
A. Recognizing destiny
1. For the Visionary Entrepreneur, recognizing his destiny or path in life is an easy task as nine times out of ten this will be something that is handed to him as either birthright or having others support him what appears his birthright to spiritual accession by becoming something allied to almost a divine instrument with a belief that whatever he undertakes is by divine plan. So whatever the Visionary Entrepreneur lacks is certainly not self-confidence in recognizing what he considers to be his destiny. The immediate problem the Visionary Entrepreneur faces is how to prioritize which path to take and when to do it as destiny is a multi-headed hydra that peaks when he does something at a certain period in time as man faces many destinies in his life and some are more important than others. Once the primary destiny is recognized for what it is he will accept it.
2. Once these areas of concern over the timing of prioritizing different paths of destiny are understood out then the Visionary Entrepreneur will work with those around him to help him implement it. Any destiny that the Visionary Entrepreneur recognizes will be no small affair and will be for him a lifetime commitment. Any path he decides to take he must work out the degree of intensity he needs to accomplish his task and that comes under timing and as the full implications of the task that he is about to take on begin to manifest his determination to continue will be the main point of his focuses and the timing will be left to the fates.
3. As far as the Visionary Entrepreneur is concerned regarding his destiny and that is to start at the top as he tries to map out a path within the frame he has chosen to undertake. His outlook will change as he contacts others whose views will help him search for what he years for. If the Visionary Entrepreneur is born into a life where it is all laid out for him his associates will help him fine-tune it. If he has to make his own way then life’s challenges will shape him further in knowing what to look for. The constant fact shown in both these models is that he has the destiny to fulfill and the Visionary Entrepreneur is searching for it rather than just hoping to stumble on it.
B. Fulfilling destiny
1. In order to fulfill destiny, the Visionary Entrepreneur has to have the opportunity to do so and that will be through others who help point him in the right direction which sets the stage for him to go in the right direction and also timing. Timing is of course always the essential aspect of taking on any major path as taking a specific path of destiny is not something that can be taken on in whim. It is made up of a series of events coming together in an interlocking process that create an opportunity to be taken advantage of. This is brought about by the actions of others who bring those opportunities forward and place them at the right place at the right time.
2. Once the Visionary Entrepreneur is on the Path of destiny the fine-tuning process never stops as the Visionary Entrepreneur works through a series of stops and prompts which are due to certain changing positions that open up for the Visionary Entrepreneur at various times. These conjunction points are part of a grand plan for the Visionary Entrepreneur to take advantage of. Usually, destiny is a series of incremental steps, that add up to a large plan whose full impact may escaper the Visionary Entrepreneur. He will know that he is on the right path but this will not be enough for him as he has to learn checks and balances of timing that comes with the input of other viewpoints.
3. With each incremental step that the path of destiny provides for the Visionary Entrepreneur he comes closer to understanding the full significance of the role he has to play but all this takes time and the Visionary Entrepreneur is impatient and often rushes in too soon and too often but he will eventually evaluate all of this. Destiny is wheels within wheels and these interlocking processors have to come together and lock into place at the same time to create an opening for the Visionary Entrepreneur to take. He does this easily and not trying to force the issue when the timing is incorrect is a continuous lesson that he will try to learn from and correct.
